Jobscareer.be takes care of your personal data!

Jobs & Career CV is recognised as a private employment service agency in the Flemish Region, under number VG. 1245/B.
The candidate's rights can be consulted on the page 'rights of the candidate' at all times.

When you send us your personal details, you agree that these will be processed in the databases of Jobs & Career CV, Havenlaan 86C bus 101, 1000 Brussels Trade Register 600.382. The personal data that you personally divulge will be processed for the following purposes:

• to periodically inform you of the vacancies that best correspond to your profile after you have registered online;
• to inform you of new products and services, including sending you e-mail information that might interest you, such as vacancies, job events and related announcements. We can send this information through various communication channels.
• make your data available to potentially interested employers;
• send you our newsletters, the Postman;
• to improve our web site management and the services that we can offer you;
• to send you information regarding career and employment events

We handle your personal data with the utmost care and undertake to comply with all the respective applicable Belgian legal rules, such as the law of 8 December 1992. In addition, under no circumstances will we pass your personal data on to third persons, unless you personally give your permission to do so (within the context of the registration & CV service, for example).

What is more, you can, at any point in time and free of charge, object to us further processing your data by simply sending us a request to that effect by letter or e-mail.

In accordance with the law of 8 December 1992, you are entitled to request additional data from the Privacy Commission, P.O. Box 4, Brussels 37 in B-1000 Brussels. Jobs & Career CV have reported their files to this Commission and have been registered under number [01614356]. You acknowledge that the liability for the material correctness of the personal data entered or passed on lies exclusively with you.

Update or remove data? No problem!

As the law on the processing of personal data stipulates, you are always entitled to consult your personal data and, if necessary, adjust them. It goes without saying that the possibility of unsubscribing (for certain newsletters or from the entire service) is also always open to you. However, please be sure to note the following in this respect: from the moment you have unregistered from the entire service, your data will be deleted. You can very easily implement all changes by surfing to “My Jobscareer”.

In addition,  Jobscareer.be offers you the possibility of subscribing to a number of electronic newsletters. Those newsletters contain information on vacancies that are tuned into your own personal profile. You can unsubscribe from the newsletters at any point in time. You will then no longer receive any more letters in your mailbox..

Jobscareer.be will regularly also send you an electronic message with more detailed information on the new services it can offer you. If you do not wish to receive such messages, you can tell us so by e-mail. We will then see to it that your request is complied with as quickly as possible.

Your personal data are kept safe

Your personal data are safely kept by Jobscareer.be. They are not accessible to third parties or Jobscareer.be employees who do not have the required access rights. In addition, the number of Jobscareer.be employees who have access to your personal data is limited to a strict minimum. That is why we have stringent and extensive safeguarding checks available to avoid unauthorised access to and misuse of your personal data.

The use of cookies

Jobscareer.be uses cookies to make the use of the website easier and faster. Cookies are small files containing information that is automatically stored in the memory of your computer to facilitate access to Jobscareer.be and let navigation run faster and more efficiently. The cookies on the website enable Jobscareer.be to retrieve the data that you passed on the previous time, so that they do not have to be entered again. This means that you will not have to enter your login details time and again during one surfing session to gain access to your personal “My Jobscareer” page. A cookie can, however, not be read by a website other than the one that has created it and, in addition, every user’s cookie is unique.

Jobscareer.be uses cookies only if you explicitly accept that it may do so. Moreover, you can always switch off the cookies from your personal login by clicking the “deactivate” option. In that case, you have to log in by entering your password and user’s name. Another way to avoid the use of cookies on your computer is by adjusting your browser settings in such a way that it no longer accepts any cookies. If you choose to work without cookies, it may well result in substantially less smooth surfing on the Internet.
